"Black Holes" at the Planetarium!

The William Staerkel Planetarium at Parkland College is please to bring the fulldome show "Black Holes: The Other Side of Infinity" to the dome beginning January 20! The show will run on Friday and Saturday nights at 8 p.m. through the end of February, then continue through March on Friday only. The show gained national attention for it's story and visualizations. Incidentally, the visualizations were done right here in town at the National Center for Supercomputer Applications on the campus of the University of Illinois. We'll travel to the massive black hole that lurks at the center of our galaxy plus watch stellar black holes at the moment of their creation. Ever wonder what it might be like to visit a black hole? Join us for the wild ride, starting January 20th! www.parkland.edu/planetarium.
